Introduction

Welcome to the University of Maryland, College Park Full Day Hackathon, the most exciting event of the semester. This is a full day experience built for innovation, collaboration, and creativity, bringing together students of all skill levels to build impactful projects in a fast paced and supportive environment.

Whether you are attending your first hackathon or you are an experienced builder, this event is your opportunity to learn, create, and connect. Throughout the day, participants will work with Google technologies, hear from industry professionals, collaborate with teammates, and turn ideas into working prototypes.

 

Along with the hackathon, participants can enjoy food, games, networking, and a special keynote session, making this an unforgettable day of learning and building at UMD.

Participants are encouraged to build their projects using Google technologies and related tools that support innovation and rapid development.

  • Google Cloud
  • Google Cloud Credits provided during the event
  • Google Antigravity IDE
  • Gen AI and Machine Learning tools on Google Cloud
  • Cloud based application development tools
  • Any additional frameworks, libraries, and platforms needed to bring your idea to life

 

Teams are welcome to use the tools that best fit their project, with an emphasis on creativity, functionality, and strong use of Google powered technologies.

The keynote session, "Building Next Gen Apps with Google Antigravity IDE," will also offer inspiration and insight into what is possible when modern cloud and AI technologies are used to create innovative applications.
